Our journey commenced in the vibrant town of Soti Khola, where the bustling atmosphere was a stark contrast to the tranquil wilderness that lay ahead. As we followed the meandering path along the Budhi Gandaki River, we were greeted by lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and charming traditional villages. The trek’s moderate difficulty level allowed us to savor the breathtaking scenery without feeling overwhelmed.
One of the most captivating aspects of the Manaslu trek is the opportunity to interact with the region’s diverse ethnic communities. The trail winds through the homelands of the Gurungs, Tamangs, and Sherpas, each known for their unique traditions and warm hospitality.
