ITINERARY

  • Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu Hotel on B/B

    Transfer to accommodation after arrival at Kathmandu International Airport.

  • Day 02 Kathmandu-Equipment Check-Typical Nepali dinner

    Breakfast at the hotel, trip planning, equipment inspection, and briefing there. Dinner in a traditional Nepali restaurant in the evening.

  • Day 03 Travel to Tibet

    Hotel breakfast served early. We reach Tibet today. Lunch on the Nepali side of the border. We keep driving to Nyalam. Our first night in China was spent at a hotel. (2,300 m / 127 km)

  • Day 04 Drive to Lhatse (4350 m) 244 km

  • Day 05 We drive to Sigatse (3900 m.) 244 km

  • Day 06 Drive to Gyantse (3950 m) 90 Km

  • Day 07 Drive to Lhasa

    We go 280 kilometres to Lhasa (3650 m) after breakfast.

  • Day 08 Lhasa

    Following breakfast, we’ll see the Jokhang Temple, the Potala and Norbulinka Palaces, Deprung and Sera Monastery, and Barkhor Bazaar.

  • Day 09 Yamdrok Lake-Kampu Monastery

    Today, we travel to Kampu Monastery (4870 m) and Yamdrock Tso Lake (3950 m).

  • Day 10 Base Camp (5320m)

    We travel to Base Camp (5320 m) from Kampu Monastery (4870 m).

  • Day 11 Ninchin Kangsa base camp (5320 m)

    Ninchin Kangsa base camp (5320 m) walk from Kampu Monastery.

  • Day 12 to 23 Climbing Period- Ninchin Kangsa summit (7206 m)

  • Day 24 Base Camp-Gyantse

    Trek from Base Camp (4700 m) to Advanced Base Camp (5300 m). We travel by car to Gyantse (4070 m) from base camp.

  • Day 25 Tingri-Gyantse

    We drive to Tingri (4350m). It has an area of 3859 km2 and about 60.000 inhabitants (2003). Its administrative headquarters, the parish of Gyantse, is the third largest city of Tibet. It lies 4070 m above sea level at the “Friendship Highway”. In the center of Gyantse there was originally a mountain fortress. In the 14th Century it was rebuilt and expanded. The most famous monastery in Tibet is Kumbum, the largest stupa in Tibet. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 26 Kodari-Kathmandu

    Driving there, we cross the border at Kodari. Drive 1350 meters to Kathmandu.

  • Day 27 Kathmandu

    Suggest a tour of Kathmandu. Visit Swayambunath (the monkey temple) after breakfast to take in the breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley. The stupa, which is situated atop a hill with sweeping views of the Kathmandu valley, is the main refuge for Newari and Buddhists. We have a goodbye supper with the expedition team in the evening.
