OVERVIEW
After an early breakfast, you’ll be accompanied by your guide to the majestic Potala Palace. The palace’s majestic structure dominates the Lhasa landscape. As we were guided through the ancient rooms of the palace, we were able to admire the best of Tibetan art. The Potala Palace is full of intricate murals and beautiful Tibetan statues. We will also have the opportunity to see the mausoleums of eight Dalai Lamas. Later in the day, we’ll visit the stunning Drepung Monastery, where you can watch nuns chanting and giving religious lectures. When the day ends, you’ll be taken back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest. Note:
Since only a limited number of visitors are allowed inside the Potala Palace each day, the order of attractions will be determined by your tour guide.

Day 2 : Sightseeing tour in Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan Durbar Square
We started our tour with a visit to Boudhanath – the largest stupa in Nepal and the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu. The stupa is designed as a giant mandala (representing the Buddhist universe). Our next destination is Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and considered the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal. Here you can witness the Hindu cremation ritual at “Aryaghat”, the temple’s cremation ground. Then you head to Patan, 5 km southeast of Kathmandu Valley. Patan is one of Kathmandu’s three medieval towns and a destination for art connoisseurs. We visit Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the square are the Patan Museum (originally Malla Palace), Krishna Mandir, a stone temple of Lord Krishna with 21 minarets and reliefs depicting scenes from the epics Mahabharata and Ramayana, the royal bathhouse or “ Tushahity” and surrounding areas. Hindu and Buddhist temples..
