It’s a leisurely 1.5 hour drive to Nayapul along the charming Modi Khola Valley. Then you continue to Syauli Bazaar by local car. Upon arrival, you begin our beautiful Annapurna trek. You’ll walk along rice terraces under a splendid panorama of the impressive glacial ranges of the Himalayas. Crossing various plains, forests, farmlands and a suspension bridge over the KhumnuKhola, you will reach the beautiful village of Ghandruk after 3 to 4 hours of walking. An ideal vantage point, this pristine village offers breathtaking views of South Annapurna, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli. Several hotels and tea rooms in the village welcomed us with warmth and sincere hospitality, and accommodated the requests of all hikers passing through the village.

You descend steeply through the dark and deep forest from Ghandruk. You will keep climbing uphill till you reach Chhomrong after passing over Salaphu, a hill. A stunning settlement called Chhomrong may be found on the flank of the massive Annapurna range. When you arrive in Chhomrong, a well-known Gurung village (renowned for its historical contribution to Nepali folk music before the 1990s), you are greeted by the majestic Annapurna South peak and Fishtail Mountain, also known as the sacred Mountain Machhapuchhre, which are located across the valley from one another.
