OVERVIEW

This particular trek includes a fascinating hiking trail along the way up to Tent Peak [5,663 m], also known as Tharpu Chuli. Tent Peak is one of the most climbed trekking peaks in Nepal. Another highlight of the trip is the exclusive exploration of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Tent Peak offers amazing 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding Annapurna massif. The trip starts from Phedi after a 45-minute drive from Pokhara. Further. The trail takes us to the Annapurna Sanctuary, the most spectacular alpine amphitheater, through charming Gurung villages and rhododendron forests.

During our trekking adventure, we will witness many diverse landscapes spanning sub-tropical forests, rice terraces, pleasant mountain ridges, lush green grasslands and bamboo forests. Donate. As we return from the Holy Land, the trail follows an alternate route, turning west to follow a high ridge eventually leading to Ghorepani and the Kali Gandaki valley. From Poon Hill above Ghorepani, we experience stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges before returning to Pokhara on the banks of Phewa Tal. Finally, we took a flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

This trip is specifically designed for those who are physically fit and have an adventurous spirit. Once properly acclimatized, this trek can be done any time of the year except monsoon [July and August].

ITINERARY

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    On a clear day, flying to Kathmandu via Nepal’s northern border is a thrilling and unforgettable experience because you get to see the stunning, expansive panorama of the snow-capped Annapurna mountain range. Your hotel will be escorted to by the Nepali support staff when they receive you at the airport.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

    Being the historical and cultural center of Nepal, Kathmandu is a favorite travel destination for adventurers, trekkers, and tourists. The city displays a beautiful fusion of Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, and Western influence. Its two principal nearby cities, Patan and Bhaktapur, are extremely important in terms of history, culture, and religion. A half-day guided trip will see the well-known and largest Hindu shrine PASUPATHINATH, the town’s largest Buddhist pagoda BOUDHANATH, the palace with 55 windows from the 15th century, and SOYAMBHUNATH. A trip orientation meeting will be held in the evening.

  • Day 3 Flight to Pokhara & Trek to Dhampus

    From Kathmandu to Pokhara, we take a 45-minute flight to begin our journey. We will take in the most breathtaking and unforgettable view of the Himalayan range during the trip. We will be charmed by the alluring Himalayan peaks of Nepal, including Manaslu, when the plane touches down in Pokhara. We’ll board a bus in Pokhara to travel to Phedi. Our adventure via the Annapurna mountain range starts from there. As we ascend, we take in the beauty of nature and the trails get increasingly challenging. After three hours of walking, we finally reach the Gurung settlement of Dhampus after passing several wayside teashops. Our journey for the day comes to an end here.

  • Day 4 Trek to Landrung

    Landrung [1550 m] trek The trail gets narrower as it circles a ridge’s nose. We continue on and pass through Pothana to arrive in Deorali. At this moment, we are perched high above the Modi Khola, which has Nepal’s Himalayan peaks cascading down on either side, and are completely enveloped by the beauty of nature. Before we arrive at the lovely Gurung town of Landrung, we hike for another four hours. Beautiful vistas of Hiunchuli and Annapurna South give our adventurous spirit additional vigor and excitement.

  • Day 5 Trek to Chomrong

    We set off from Landrung on the stone-paved mountain trail, passing via a village and a suspension bridge before arriving at a dense bamboo grove. It can be quite an experience to find oneself totally alone in the tranquility of nature. Our journey doesn’t end here. After some hiking, we reach Jhinu teahouses where we can rest and enjoy a drink or some snacks. We then begin our ascent toward the north, descending Daaulu, and after five hours of walking, we arrive in Chomrong. We can see Machhapuchhare clearly and enthrallingly from Chomrong. At Chomrong, we may find numerous wooden lodges in the chalet style where we can stay and eat.

  • Day 6 Trek to Himalaya hotel

    We continue our ascent up the inclining stone steps after crossing Chomrong Khola. The walk travels through bamboo forests, steep terrain, and ridge paths covered in rhododendrons. As we take in breathtaking vistas of the Machhapuchhare and Annapurna mountain ranges, we regain our motivation and eagerness to continue exploring. You cross Modi Khola during our five-hour trek, travel through Khuldigar, Bamboo, and Dovan, and then arrive at Himalaya Hotel where we end the day’s excursion.

  • Day 7 Trek to Machhapuchhare base camp

    We quickly reach Hinku Cave after a long ascent and see a modest lodge being built inside a fire-blackened overhang. The trail continues further and passes through a number of ascents before arriving at the Sanctuary. We arrive at the level, grassy moraine platform known as Machhapuchhare Base Camp after passing lodges in Deurali and Bagar. To get to base camp, you must walk for 3 to 4 hours. After that, we chose a nice area to put up camp.

  • Day 8 Trek to Annapurna base camp

    We make a gradual ascent through the serene meadows to reach Annapurna Base Camp. The trail skirts around the rocky slopes, allowing us to take in the breathtaking views of the towering Himalayan peaks. Two hours of hiking later, we arrive at base camp. The south face of Annapurna I is now visible in some amazing views.

  • Day 9 Rest day

    We spend the entire day relaxing, making travel plans, and familiarizing ourselves with the trekking locations while surrounded by the breathtaking grandeur of Nepal’s towering peaks.

  • Day 10 Trek to Tent peak high camp

    The trail going to Tent Peak High Camp is followed. We finally make it to our intended location after battling through the glaciated mountain passes. For those who don’t want to climb, there are other possibilities. It can be quite enjoyable and exciting to hike from camp. It might be as satisfying to view Nepal’s majestic Himalayan peaks and diverse ecosystems.

  • Day 11 Ascent of Tent peak

    We start climbing the summit quite early in the morning. We finally reach Tent Peak’s summit after a difficult ascent. At a height of 5600 meters, we have stunning views of the Annapurna range. With this victory under our belts, we make our way back to Annapurna Base Camp.

  • Day 12 Spare day

    To avoid unfavorable weather, we completely stop our walk. In order to improve our health, this also enables us to rest after our physically demanding journey.

  • Day 13 Trek to Himalaya hote

    After unwinding, we return to the Himalaya Hotel. We will eventually return to the Himalaya Hotel after 4 hours of walking.

  • Day 14 Trek to Tadapani

    Returning to Chomrong, we then take a detour through Ghorepani to return to Pokhara. Before descending to the town of Khumnu over the Khumnu Khola, we continue on the route above the planted fields of potato and wheat. The trail climbs steeply to Melanche after crossing the river, then continues through rhododendron trees to Tadapani, where we set up camp. To get to Tadapani, you must walk for about four to five hours. We have fantastic views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhare from our campsite.

  • Day 15 Trek to Ghorepani

    The route zigzags along the path to Banthanti that is covered in rocks. We continue over the rocky trails after passing Banthanti. Nature presents us with a unique image of imposing snow-capped mountain peaks, lush flora, and an abundance of plant life. We ascend through a rhododendron woodland to Deorali (3100m), where we find a hamlet and farmland. We continue traveling for another four hours before reaching Ghorepani. In Ghorepani, there are also lodges where tourists can eat and stay. We decide on a great spot to set up camp for the evening.

  • Day 16 Trek to the road head & drive to Pokhara

    We leave Ghorepani and continue marching toward Nayapul after taking in the spellbinding vista of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, and other Himalayan giants from the well-known vantage point of Poon Hill [3195m]. We continue to drop toward Birethanti. Alongside the Modi River, Birethanti is a long, resourceful town. We travel through a large forest and a little settlement called Ulleri along the paths made of stone steps. On the Bhurungdi Khola, an extremely steep part [with 3767 steps!] descends to Hille from Ulleri. After traveling for forty minutes, we reach the major road. We can now drive to Pokhara using any mode of transportation with ease. We are free to roam among Pokhara’s lakes in the evening. [6 hours on foot].

  • Day 17 Flight to Kathmandu

    Since our journey has come to an end, we board a flight to return to Kathmandu.

  • Day 18 Depart Kathmandu

    We will drive you to the airport so you may catch your journey home with our Nepalese support staff. (Alternatively, stay longer for short excursions like a game drive in a national park, rafting, Tibet tours, or mountain biking, for example).
