To get to Balephi, where our raft is placed in, we travel a 65 kilometre journey in three hours of early morning driving. After getting there, lunch is provided at Balephi. Prior to rafting, all relevant information is thoroughly covered in a briefing. After donning the necessary gear, we set out on the river with an experienced river guide. We paddle towards Dolalghat while passing through lovely countryside, exquisite nature, and a panorama of towering hills. We see terraced fields and typical Nepali homes sitting on the hillsides and slopes as we approach Dolalghat. The day’s amazing excursion comes to a close with camping in Dolalghat at an excellent location.

We keep kayaking across the raging rapids. It gets considerably simpler to control the frantic whitewater run as this thrilling river ride meanders past class IV “No exit” and “Meatgrinder” rapids near Pucharghat. We also reach the Likhu Khola’s confluence. near last, we set our camp near Dhani Ghat.

At regular intervals, the river excursion encounters a sequence of whitewater rapids of varying acuity. Amazing boulder-strewn whitewater extravaganza comes into view. We encounter class III rapids while rafting toward Harkapur. The journey becomes increasingly difficult and dangerous as torrential rapids become V class rapids. At this stage, the knowledge of the river guide, together with utmost caution and safety procedures, play crucial roles. After a thrilling and enjoyable rafting expedition, we set up camp in Harkapur.

We experience IV-class rapids when we enter the Dudhkoshi River confluence while rafting through Harkapur. The river widens below the Dudhkoshi and flows across a huge valley after slowing down amid the exotic eco-system and scenic sights. Dudhkoshi is considerably colder than Sun Kosi. We finally reach Raighat, where we set up camp, after navigating incredible rapids like Rapid Punch, Juddy, High Anxiety, Motorcycle, Harkapur 1, Harkapur 2, and Harkapur 3.

This day has been set aside for complete rest on both the mind and body. We can tour the region around the campsite after a good night’s rest. Even the beauty of nature can be captured in our stunning photographs. Another visual delight for us is seeing the most serene view of captivating Mt. Everest.

We float past a suspension bridge and a massive eddy while battling rapids like Jaws and Dead Man’s Eddy. As we forge on for more difficult whitewater rafting, our hearts palpitate with adventure spirit. Throughout this exhilarating river expedition, exotic wildness and the natural world serve as our witnesses. We frequently receive interesting informational nuggets from our river guide. We finally set up camp at Raswaghat to wrap up the day’s adventure.

We bounce and splash against the uncontrolled river as we pass past untamed flora, cliffs that are covered with rocks, and boulders that are the size of houses. Rhino Rocks and Jungle Corridor are only a couple of the rapids that are further ahead that have continuous white water. We will be given to an amazing view of an exotic wilderness, unspoiled hamlets, and beautiful scenery. As we get closer to Riverghat, we search for a good place to set up camp.

We place the raft securely while following the advice of our river guide as the untamed river crashes against the rocky banks, crashes into boulders and crevices, and breaks into foamy white water rapids. We white water raft through confined valleys and ferocious rapids like Chamereghat and Darsandhungat while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. We stop the journey for the day after reaching Ranitar and set up camp in a great area.

We paddle along Imperial Rapid and Big Dipper after leaving Ranitar. We arrive to Tribenighat, the junction of the rivers Arun, Tamur, and the start of the Sapta Koshi river, shortly after exploring lovely waterfalls and paradisiacal side canyons. After reaching Chatara, we said goodbye to our rafting adventure while clinging to the precious memories of the experience. Near Chatara is where you can find a Barahi temple. To honor Lord Vishnu, we can go to this temple. We then travel by car to Biratnagar.
