OVERVIEW

Bardia National Park has an area of ​​968 km2. In the central western region there are dense forests of sal (Shorea robusta). An area of ​​327 square kilometers of the national park was declared a buffer zone in 1997. The park is home to blue cows, deer, wild boars, langurs, rhesus monkeys, civets, hyenas, rhesus macaques, jackals, sloth bears, otters, tigers, rhinoceroses, mongooses, wild elephants, Black deer, Indian crocodile, swamp crocodile, Ganges River Dolphin and many other rare and endangered species. Avid bird watchers and naturalists find this park a paradise to visit exotic birds like the Bengal florican, silver-eared mesia, lesser florican, saurus crane, etc. During your wildlife safari, you can admire the beautiful sights of six different species of deer, specifically Chital deer or spotted deer. Deer, Hog deer, Sambhar deer, Swamp deer, Barasingha deer and Barking deer jump happily in the tall grasslands. During your exciting visit to the park, you will have many opportunities for forest walks, bird watching, rafting along the Karnali river, village tours, cultural programs and a visit to the crocodile breeding center.   • Day 1: Kathmandu to Bardia

    Fly to Nepalgunj, where we will meet you at the airport or Ambasa stand and transport you to your accommodation. a tour briefing, some refreshments, and lunch. After lunch, take a village visit to a nearby ethnic Tharu hamlet to discover more about their way of life before dinner.

  • Day 2: Bardia National Park Tour
