Lhakp Ri Mountain is the newly becoming famous expedition in Tibet; and many climbers have been attracted these days to this mountain climbing through Tibet side. It divides the upper east Rombuk and Kharta glacier. It is very closed to Mount Everest and one feels as equal to climbed Mount Everest the moment, one reaches on the top of this mountain.
It was first climb by George Mallory who was on his way to the Everest Reconnaissance in 1921; and he had seen its North Col.
Bill Tilman made the second ascent during his Everest reconnaissance in 1936. The Third ascent made by French Everest Summiteers Michelle Pelle in 1988. The Fourth ascent by Ken McConnell in 1991. The present expedition teams are also using these same routes as the previous four expedition teams had used in the past.

ITINERARY
Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu
You will receive a traditional flower garlands upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport. At that point, the agent will drive you to your accommodation. You will visit the office for paperwork if time permits. Visit the hotel in Kathmandu for the night.
Day 02 Kathmandu free day, Hotel B/B
Day off in Kathmandu to arrange for a visa and other matters. Visit the hotel in Kathmandu for the night.
Day 03 Sightseeing in and around Kathmandu
Exploring Kathmandu and its surroundings. Hotel-stay the night in Kathmandu.
Day 04 Final day for the preparation of Lhakpa Ri expedition
The final day of the Lhakpa Ri expedition’s preparation. Hotel-stay the night in Kathmandu.
Day 05 Drive from Kathmandu to Rasuwagadi
Drive to Rasuwagadi (1804m) from Kathmandu. Spend the night at a lodge.
Day 06 After completing immigration formalities, you will drive to Kyirung
You will drive to Kyirung (4114m) after finishing immigration requirements. Spend the night at the lodge.
Day 07 Rest day at Kyirung.
Day of rest at Kyirung. Today is crucial for acclimatization. Spend the night at the lodge.
Day 08 Drive from Kyirung to Old Tingri
It takes roughly 6 hours to drive from Kyirung to Old Tingri (4300 m). Spend the night in the camp.
Day 09 Free day for acclimatization and preparation
Day off to get acclimated and prepare. Spend the night in a hotel.
Day 10 Drive from Old Tingri to Chinese Base Camp
Drive via the Rongbuk monastery to reach Chinese Base Camp (5100 m) from Old Tingri. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 11 to 12 Preparation days in Chinese Base Camp
Days spent preparing at Chinese Base Camp. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 13 Trek from Chinese Base Camp to Camp
Trek from Camp I to the Chinese Base Camp. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 14 Trek from Camp I to Intermediate Camp
To go to Camp I, hike from Chinese Base Camp. Camp out the night.
Day 15 Rest day at Intermediate Camp
Day of rest for Intermediate Camp. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 16 Climb to Camp II.
Scale Camp II. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 17 Climb to Camp III.
Scale Camp III. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 18 Back to Advance Base Camp
To the Advance Base Camp again. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 19 to 25 Summit Lhakpa Ri and back to Advance Base Camp
Back to Advance Base Camp after reaching the summit of Lhakpa Ri (7045 meters). Stay in camp all night.
Day 26 Trek from Advance Base Camp to Chinese Base Camp
From Chinese Base Camp, hike to Advance Base Camp. Spend the night in the camp.
Day 27 Drive from Chinese Base Camp to Old Tingri.
Drive to Old Tingri from Chinese Base Camp. Spend the night in a hotel.
Day 28 Drive from Old Tingri to Kerung.
Drive to Kerung from Old Tingri. Spend the night in a hotel.
Day 29 Drive from Kerung to Kathmandu
From Kerung, take a drive to Kathmandu. Spend the night in a hotel.
Day 30 Rest and explore day around Kathmandu.
Rest and explore the area surrounding Kathmandu. In the evening, we will set up a goodbye meal with a live cultural presentation. Visit a hotel in Kathmandu for the night.
Day 31 Departure
Our airport agent will take you from your hotel to the airport for your last departure in accordance with your flight schedule.
