ITINERARY

  • Day 01: Arrival Paro

    The flight into the Himalaya revels breathtaking views of the great peaks Mt. Everest 8848m., Mt. Kanchanjunga 8586m., Mt. Chomolari, Mt.Jichu Drake, ect. Taking you right into the Dragon Kingdom’s scraping airstrip at Paro. On arrival you will be greeted and transferred through the beautiful Paro valley to hotel. Evening: talk & slide show on Bhutan – dinner at hotel.

  • Day 02: In Paro

    Morning: drive and to Drukgyal Dzong (18km), Rinpung Dzong, Ta Dzong Museum including local bazaar in Paro valley – overnight at hotel.

  • Day 03: Excursion to Taktsang

    Morning: Excursion to Taktsan monastery with a two hours horse ride. Afternoon: drive to Mendegang. Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 04: Wangdi-Punakha

    Scenic drive to Wandi and Punakha including visit to Wangdiphodrang and Punakha-Dzongs. Overnight at lodge.

  • Day 05: Mendegang-Phubijikha

    Morning: excursion tour to Phubijikha valley including visit to the Gangtey Dzong. Overnight at guest house in Mendegang.

  • Day 06: Phubijikha-Thimpu

    Morning: drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan – full day sightseeing in Thimphu. Evening: cultural show with masked dances. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 07: in Thimpu

    Morning: sightseeing tour to Dechencholing valley. Afternoon: dance performance. Rest after noon at Leisure. Evening: drive to Paro. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 08: Paro- Departure

    Early morning drive to Paro airport to board onward flight.
