  • Day 03 : Drive to Arughat Bazaar in a private vehicle and Drive to Soti Khola by local jeep

We will arrive at Arughat Bazaar after a 5- to 6-hour trip, and then take a vehicle to Soti Khola. We arrive at Soti Khola, where we will stay tonight, after another 1:30 to 2 hours of driving through terraces and charming hamlets along Budhi Gandaki. a night spent at a teahouse.

  • Day 04 : Trek to Machhakhola

The first day of our trek is today. We travel through a number of tiny settlements tucked into the hillside as we make our way through the deep forest until we come to a widening of the valley directly across from where a significant tributary stream enters the Budhi Gandaki River. The upper settlement of Lapubesi (880m) is home to the terraced agricultural fields. After descending through the vast, sandy riverbed and ascending once again to a ridge leading to Almara, a trail meanders below the steep, rugged valley wall. Machha Khola, which means “Fish River” in literal terms, is just a short distance away. a night spent at a teahouse.

  • Day 05 : Trek to Jagat

The trail makes some small climbs and descents and eventually crosses Tharo Khola and reaches Khorlabesi. After a few more uphill and downhill climbs, we came across a small hot spring at Tatopani. The sides of the valley remain steep until impassable and the route then traverses the left bank over a suspension bridge. The path is quite exposed and difficult to go in many places. After a short forest road, we reached Dobhan. Above Doban, Budhi Gandaki descends a series of impressive rapids. Beyond this steep stretch, the river is much calmer, meandering through a wide gravel bed. At Lauri, we crossed the river on a suspension bridge, then climbed the high road leading to the Jagat fields. Night in the tea room. .

  • Day 06 : Trek to Deng

We started today’s hike by climbing a rocky ridge to Salleri with its impressive view of Shrigi Himal (7,187 m), then descended to Sirdibas. The valley widens a bit as the road continues towards Ghatta Khola. We continued upstream to the long suspension bridge at Philim, a large village in Gurung. The trail turns north just above the lowest houses in the village and follows a fairly flat path as it passes through millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. The route now enters a steep, uninhabited canyon. Here we went down the grassy slope, crossed Budhi Gandaki, then walked along the west bank for a while and then over to the east bank to cross. As we continued along the trail, the valley widened and we passed through the bamboo forest to reach Deng Khola. Crossing Khola, we reached the small village of Dang. Night in the tea room.

  • Day 07 : Trek to Namrung

After a short walk past Dang, we crossed Budhi Gandaki and climbed Rana at an altitude of 1910m. From a bridge we climbed a bit to join the road coming from Bhi, then we headed west to the Budhi Gandaki valley. The trail also passes through forests and mani rocks (prayers carved into roadside rocks), a sure sign that we are entering a high-altitude Buddhist region. After about 4 hours, we reached Ghap, across the river. We crossed Budi Gandaki several times today and passed a few gompas along the way. As we advance, we feel distinct changes in climate and culture as altitude increases. The higher altitude takes us into alpine territory and gives a more expansive view of the mountains. The trail follows the river upstream through the dense forest. After crossing the river at a dramatic point where it drops into a narrow canyon, the forest becomes sparser and the trail becomes scenic again. The pleasant walk continued and after the final steep climb we reached Namrung where our special permits were checked. Night in the tea room. .

  • Day 08 : Trek to Lho

  • Day 09 : Trek to Samagoan

Leaving the village, we followed the right bank of the river, in front of us was peak 29. We also had the opportunity to see attractive views of many other mountains. Continuing along the main trail, we passed the village of Shyala, then descended to the river that originates from the Pungyen Glacier. We will pass by many monasteries and convents. After crossing the ridge, we reached Samagaon fields to spend the night there. Night in the tea room.

  • Day 10 : Acclimatization day Excursion around Samagoan

We stop walking today because we want to become acclimated. We don’t just sit around, though. We stroll through the community, taking in the people’ way of life and culture. We hike for around two and a half hours before ascending the ridge to Pungyen Monastery. At 3,450 meters, Birendra Tal is a glacial lake that we explore. We then head back to our individual tea house. Teahouse overnight stay.

  • Day 11 : Trek to Samdo

We continue to follow the thundering Budhi Gandaki as it ascends increasingly higher, trickling to a torrent. We are encircled on all sides by magnificent mountains. Particularly stunning is Manaslu. We can also see Samdo (Pang phuchuli), Nagdi chuli, Simnang Himal, the Manaslu glacier, as well as a number of other magnificent peaks in the area. Wide pasturelands, juniper trees, and mani walls are all present throughout the path. We arrive at the final permanent settlement in the valley, Samdo, a village of yak-herding people, after crossing to the river’s east bank. a night spent at a teahouse.

  • Day 12 : Acclimatization /Excursion around Tibetan boarder via Samdo Village

We have two options: either take a trip to Gya-La pass to the north of the hamlet, a more popular trade route than the earlier one, or go to the back of Samdo village through a trade pass to Tibet (if we desire a longer hike). The stunning views of Mt. Manaslu and other Himalayan ranges, such as Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Larkye Peak, Cheo, etc. are available in both scenarios. We travel past seasonal herders’ settlements along the way. Teahouse overnight stay.

  • Day 13 : Trek to Daramashala

Starting the day, we crossed the wooden bridge over the Budhi Gandaki river. We arrived at the ruins of an abandoned village, called Larkya Bazaar. Perhaps this village flourished as a trading post, Tibet is located above Gya La. Trade appears to have dried up, leading to an emigration of settlers. On the way, we also noticed Mani walls and prayer flags, signifying the proximity of the Larkya La Pass. After crossing several streams, we will observe beautiful views of the Larkya glacier. Near the Larkya glacier, we reached a stone guesthouse called Dharmasala or Larkya La Phedi., built to accommodate travelers crossing Larkya La. Today’s trip gave us enough time to adapt and relax. Night in the tea room.

  • Day 14 : Trek to Bhimtang via Larkya-La Pass

As we must traverse the Larkya La, the highest point on the Manaslu climb at 5,213m, today is longer and more taxing than usual. We begin by traversing the glacier’s moraines before beginning a moderate rise that gets steeper as we get closer to the pass’s summit. Great mountains like Humlung Himal, Cheo Himal Kang Guru, and Annapurna II may be seen from there. We then cross the moraine again and descend to a different grassy moraine. The route gets easier to walk as we descend. Finally, we arrive in Bhimthang for the night with a sense of accomplishment. a night spent at a teahouse.

  • Day 15 : Trek to Tilche

The trip today will take about 5 hours and will follow the Marshyangdi River’s downstream route, passing past a number of dispersed villages. Our path through Sangure Kharka’s meadow affords us spectacular views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal. We drop into rhododendron trees after crossing a bridge over Dudh Khola, then travel through a small valley to get to the high-elevation farmland at Karche (2785 meters). To get to Tiliche, we travel through fields and ascend steeply over a ridge. a night spent at a teahouse.

  • Day 16 : Trek to Jagat

After departing from Tiliche, we cross the Marshyangdi river, join the main Annapurna Circuit with the throngs of hikers, and quickly arrive in Dharapani. All day long, we gradually descend down the Marshyangdi and Dudh Khola River banks. On the route, Tal, a lovely town, is momentarily accessible across an initially shallow canyon. This region was created when a landslide blocked the valley and a dam developed behind the lake. The lake has long since dried up, and Tal is now located on the flat terrain. We eventually get in Jagat for the night after crossing Tal. a night spent at a teahouse.

  • Day 17 : Drive to Kathmandu via Besisahar

We return to Kathmandu after roughly two weeks of trekking in the Himalaya. The seven-hour drive from Besi Sahar to Kathmandu provides a chance to take in both mountainous and hilly scenery. Frequently, the route follows the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers’ banks. Along the way, we pass several picturesque villages that have farming terraces on both sides of the road.
