ITINERARY

  • Day 01 : Arrival Ktm, transfer to hotel BB

Flying into Kathmandu on a clear day is an exhilarating panoramic experience. It’s almost joyful to see the mountain ranges below you covered in snow, which sets off a series of unforgettable events that stay with you for a very, very long time. At the airport, a representative from our office will greet you and drive you to your hotel. The representative will assist you in checking into the hotel of your choice. You will receive a briefing on your daily activities at the hotel.

  • Day 02 : Free day in Kathmandu, hotel BB

Since Nepal began welcoming tourists, Kathmandu, the historical and cultural center of the country, has become a well-liked travel destination. A beautiful fusion of Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, and Western influence can be seen in the city. There will be a guided visit to Boudhanath, the biggest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, and then Pashupatinath, the most well-known Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. We take a journey to Lalitpur, often known as Patan or the City of Artists, which is located 5km from Kathmandu. The architectural marvels of the Malla era are breathtaking as we go through Patan Durbar Square. The main draws in the plaza are the Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, and Golden Temple.

  • Day 03 : Fly Kathmandu to Nepalgunj

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Nepalgunj, which is located in the western Terai region not far from the Indian border.

  • Day 04 : Fly Nepalgunj to Jumla & trek to Chala Chaur

We fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla in a picturesque aircraft for thirty minutes. After interacting with the trekking team upon arrival in Jumla, we start our walk following lunch. Out of the Jumla Valley, we travel north. After about an hour of walking, we come across Micha, a little settlement with a few Buddhist stupas and a small walled enclosure. These stupas were built in honor of significant local dignitaries in the late 15th century. The track eventually comes to an end at Chala Chaur after continuing on a rock-strewn path.

  • Day 05 : Cross a Pass

We depart Chala Chaur and proceed along a route made of inclining stones. At approximately 3500 meters as we climb, we pass through birch, pine, and grassland woodlands. From here, Kanjiroba may be seen in the east, its twin peaks towering over the nearby terrain. We continue down the route as it enters thick vegetation as we descend. We finally arrive at a suitable campground in the meadows close to several shepherd’s huts after a couple of hours of hiking.

  • Day 06 : Trek via Sinja to Botan

Through terraced fields and pine trees, we stroll along the Jaljala Khola. Kanaksundari Temple, which dates back 300 years, is located along the walk. For Hindus, the temple has great religious significance. The road continues to curve beside the main river. After descending to Sinja village, we finally cross a thick plank bridge. On the west side of the crystal-clear Lah Gad River, also known as the Sinja Khola, Sinja Village is situated on a small alluvial plain. The ancient capital of the Malla monarchs was Sinja. Along the trail, there are stones that tell the narrative of the Malla dynasty. Following lunch, we travel to Botan. On the route, we traverse a magnificent gorge before arriving in the settlement of Botan.

  • Day 07 : Trek to Rara Park border

After leaving Sinja Khola, we continue along the Ghatta Khola trail amidst the unmatched grandeur of nature. The winding path ascends into a picturesque valley and terraced agriculture. We soon find ourselves at the Rara Lake National Park’s boundaries. On the way, we pass by a police station and some outdated grain mills. The environment at Rara Lake National Park is exceptional and diverse. We can spend a half-hour taking in the park’s beauty or just doing whatever takes our fancy. Our overnight stay is in Gorosingha.

  • Day 08 : Trek to Rara Lake

We take a short stroll away from Gorosingha and spend an hour and a half climbing to the Ghurchi Mara ridge [3710m]. The trail is not as challenging as it appears to be. When we reach the ridge’s summit, we are treated to a wonderful view to the north that exudes unmistakable beauty and allure. Rara Lake may be seen on the northeast as the trail lowers. Before crossing the Khatyar Khola, the trail continues through woods of birch, bamboo, and other trees. Following the river upstream, we arrive at Rara Lake and have the most amazing hiking adventure amidst the splendor of nature.

  • Day 09-10 : Rest day in Rara Lake and local excursion

We now have two days set aside to travel around, visiting places like the historic village of Rara. For excellent views of the lake and the surrounding hills, we can also ascend the wooden observation tower that is located behind the post office. We can even go to the National Park Service’s main office. The lake is piercingly refreshing and swimming is permitted there. This may be the ideal method for acclimatization.

  • Day 11 : Trek via Jhyari to River camp

We leave Rara Lake and continue to follow the intended route. We arrive in the village of Jhyari after navigating a ridge. The trail continues by the Jhyari Khola and passes terraced fields. We locate a nice tent location close to the river bank as we get closer to the Dhauligar Khola valley. Additionally, we get to see the exotic charisma of nature and the breathtaking view of snow-capped mountain peaks.

  • Day 12 : Across Ghurchi Lagna pass to Chautha

We hike across fields before reaching the Pina settlement as Dhauligar Khola blurs out of our path. There are hotels and a police station in Pina. As we continue to ascent, we pass through a number of little chortens, alpine-like pastures, walnut groves, and a constricting valley on our way to the Ghurchi Lagna Pass. The day’s hike comes to an end when the steep descent finally leads us into Chautha, a settlement.

  • Day 13 : Trek to Tharamara

The trail leaves Chautha and travels along the northern bank of the Sinja Khola, passing the hotel and clinic at Kabra and the enormous overhanging rock. The essential medicinal mineral known as silaji, which is found in this region, is thought to be able to treat practically anything. The path then ascends to the meadow at Tharamara after passing through the settlements of Bumra and Nyawre.

  • Day 14 : Trek to Jumla

We advance toward Jumla by following the path’s gentle rising slope. On our route to the Khali Lagna and Danphe Lekh, we pass towering birch trees. We may enjoy the most breathtaking views of the mountain ranges to the south and Jumla below from the ridge’s summit. We continue on and descend sharply to the campsite for the first night. While hiking this trail, extreme caution is recommended. After that, we return to Jumla using the same path. After arriving in Jumla, we can spend the afternoon either visiting the bustling market town or doing whatever takes our fancy.

  • Day 15 : Fly to Kathmandu

From Jumla, we board a plane for Nepalgunj. After arriving in Nepalgunj, we take the next flight back to Kathmandu. The remainder of the day can be spent shopping and exploring.

  • Day 16 : Final departure

We will drive you to the airport to catch your journey home with our Nepalese support staff. In contrast, if you’d want to remain longer, you can take short trips like a game drive through a national park, go rafting, go on a tour of Tibet, go mountain biking, etc. – just ask us.
